Alife added another store to their family today with the opening of Alife LA, but that means there are only 3 doors in North America and only 2 in the USA. In the past if you ever wanted anything Alife, it meant either paying resale prices or begging you aunt from Brooklyn to wait in line, but thankfully that has changed.
With the highly anticipated release of the Alife x Puma First Rounds as well as exclusive T-shirts, Alife made the items available via an online pop up shop. Allocated quantities for the pop up shop are terribly limited and once they are gone, they are gone.
Much appreciation to Alife for recognizing that there are many sneakerheads and Alife fans scattered between NYC and LA. Grab them while you can – rivingtonclub.com
Barneys New York has been making big strides to carry a fine line of sneakers. Something they have done with a handful of companies is collaborating and having exclusives made for them.
These three pairs of Alife Everybody Highs are exclusive to Barneys New York and their Coop stores. The shoes feature “ALIFE” embossed all over the rich leather upper of the shoes similar to what we saw on the Alife x Puma First Rounds.
Inside and out the shoes are above today’s standard for good sneakers. The shoes sport a rich leather upper, leather lined inside, and comfort your wouldn’t expect to find from a cup soled shoe. These shoes are available now online at Barneys.com and are the featured kicks of the day over at Complex.
Alife has also created a series of matching t-shirts to correspond with the upcoming release of the Alife x Asics Gel Lyte III sneakers. These t-shirts include the Alife logo in a reptilian print with the same eyeballs as seen on the Asics. Both sneakers and t-shirts will release on Saturday, October 27th at Alife’s three locations, Vancouver, Los Angeles and New York. Some pairs will also be available online at Alife, however no tees will go on sale online. The sneakers and tees are priced at $200 USD and $40 USD respectively.
Nike keeps it rolling with their hybrid sneakers. Their latest is the Fusion series which combines Air Jordans with AF1’s. The concept is interesting… take two iconic sneakers to cook up one super mean shoe, but the outcome is just sad… So far, we have images of the Jordan XII and the Jordan V Fusions. Why anyone would spend money on one of these is beyond me, but if you’re looking to cop, the Fusion V drops early January, the XII sometime in the spring.
Not a lot has changed from a design perspective with the upcoming release of this Timberland Dookie Rope Pack. However that’s not to say that these two latest Timberland releases are not special in their own right. Two classic silhouettes in the Field Boot and 6 Inch Premium have both been given some bling bling treatment with the use of Dookie Rope laces. Dookie Rope chains arguably hit its peak ages ago when seen on the likes of Run DMC. Available now at STLESS.
Originally released in 1988, the Nike Air Trainer TW was an off-shoot of the classic Air Trainer SC. The Trainer TW incorporated some new design features which differentiated itself from its older brother such as a lighter composition and a low cut profile. Through out its time, Bo Jackson was the poster child and spokesperson for the Air Trainer series.
18 years after the original inception of the Air Trainer TW II in 1989, the Air Trainers are back. Four new colorways were created with the help of Supreme. An accompanying series of Nike x Supreme baseball jackets were also produced. Three colorways are available for the jackets.
Stateside Supreme stores will see this package release on Thursday, November 8th while the Japanese release will take place one day later on Friday, November 9th.
