Update New Pix..We All Screamed for Ice Cream

Plenty of hopsters came through the Bowery Hotel last night for the BBC/ICE Cream store opening jam. The party was packed with the co-brand’s cone-munchers as well as some of The Imperial Skateboard P’s inner circle like Nigo,The Clipse’s Pusha T, Chad Hugo, and a blunt-toting Snoop Dogg. The fish out of water award of the night goes to the always-dapper diamond slinger/recent money-laundering schemer Jacob The Jeweler, who seemed to be rolling solo and having a tough time mingling amongst the tight-jean and bright-colored sneaker clad clientele. Jus Ske spun a slew of tracks that Pharrell either had a hand in the production with or rapped on. The party was to celebrate the opening of the BBC/Ice Cream retail store that is located at 476 Broadway between Prince and Houston streets. Brook Avenue x Gravis Lo-Down Hi Cut

Legendary New York graffiti artist CrashOne and his brand Brook Avenue teamed up with footwear brand Gravis to produce this collaborative high-top sneaker. The sleek black upper is highlighted by understated embossing on the side panels. The rear includes a Brook Avenue embroidery signifying the area in which CrashOne grew up. Different colors of laces are included, effectively matching the little flag tab of CrashOne’s logo seen on the upper. This limited edition sneaker will be available exclusively at Gravis Black Box dealers in the US and Japan and at Brook Ave flagship stores in Tokyo and New York.

Adidas Consortium Collection Winter Release

Adidas continues its success story with the past Consortium series’, Adidas has decided to release a new collection for this holiday season. Many of Adidas’ signature models will be re-vamped and get new colorways, fabrics and even slight re-imagining. The shoes featured in this collection are all vibrant, colorful and striking. They should sell well as they are released. No info yet on exact release dates but we will keep you updated.

Reebok Reverse Jam “Love Sucks”

Reebok will continue to release its successful retro model the Reverse Jam next year. This color up of the Reverse Jam was put together to celebrate the “day of love” in a way that could be a signature shoe for The Wedding Singer (see “Love Stinks”). The shoe has a bit of a non traditional Valentines look being predominantly black with red, a “blood splattered” midsole, and a concoction of all the things that suck about love like cheater, hate, lies, crushed, disgusted, blood shed – ah, don’t you just feel the love in the air?

Frank151 France x Ets Ferrand Skateboard Deck

The French chapter of mini-lifestyle magazine Frank151 teamed up with luxury leather goods maker Jacques Ferrand to create a collection of limited edition ostrich and crocodile skin skate decks, each bearing a Frank151 stamp.

Vivienne Tam, une styliste/designeuse, vient de présenter le TAM MP3walkman. Il s’agit d’un concept de baladeur MP3, développé avec Kitman Keung, qui serait destiné aux femmes. Aucunes spécifications techniques sur ce dernier si ce n’est un design sous la forme d’un clip plutôt sympa… À suivre.

The BBC Ice Cream Store opened today here in NYC a little late to a long queue of fans and the likes of Pharrell, Jay Z and Nigo.

New Bape Leather Down Jacket

Although often associated with flashier and more colorful elements, Bape has produced a series of simpe leather down jackets for their 2007 Fall/Winter Collection. The only discernible Bape elements are the small tag and the use of camo for the lining. Four different colors are available, black, beige, brown and dark brown are available now at NYO’s BusyWorkShop lol Jsut aske me if u want it!

Air Jordan x Levis 501 – March 1st, 2008

Air Jordan and Levis announced that they will create a co-brand collection called 23/501 featuring a pair of Levi’s 501, an Air Jordan 1 and a t-shirt.

This special collaboration will will have a run of only 2,323 sets commemorating the Air Jordan XX3 set to release two months earlier. The 23/501 collection will be released March 1st, 2008 for $395.00 at very select Air Jordan accounts and Niketowns.

To coincide with the release of the Alife x Reebok Court Victory Pumps, Alife has released a limited edition matching t-shirt. The tees will only be available at Alife NYC, Alife LA and Alife Vancouver. It’s also worth noting that this series of Ball-Outs are available in women’s sizes as well.

Nike x Mastermind AF1 Leather Down Jacket

Nike Japan and Mastermind continue to collaborate on very special pieces for the Nike AF1 25th anniversary campaign. After first dropping some great Nike windrunners, they now released a down leather parka. On the outside it is simple and all black, once you open it up you see the same AF1 sneakers all-over photo print that we already saw on some other pieces this year. Pic via Nike1Love.

Air Jordan 12 Fusion Black/Varsity Red-Taxi-Green Bean

I was expecting to take Thanksgiving Day off, but it looks like Jordan Brand had other plans. The Air Jordan x Air Force 1 Fusion campaign is set to take off relatively soon on the first weekend of January, but had not yet seen photos of any of the other colors of the Air Jordan 12 Fusions until now.

Black/Varsity Red – Taxi – Green Bean. I don’t think much else needs to be said. Black with any of those three colors would be a nice color combination, but throw all of them together and you get whats pictured to the right. I try to refrain from bashing products, but seriously who thought that this looked good?

Laser Autographed Air Jordan 1 Black Toes

Last month Jordan Brand held a press only event called Rookie Training Camp. Here the lucky attendees were able to ask questions and see some the future direction of Jordan Brand.

While we cannot release too much of what went on or what was shown, we can tell you that this was an event that no one could ever touch. Not only were Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith in attendance, so was the man himself, Michael Jordan. In addition to meeting and getting the chance to speak to three of the most influential people in the sneaker business, guests did not leave empty handed.

We were at the Complex office in NYC yesterday where one lucky bastard proud owner showed to us one of his new Holy Grails – MJ laser autographed Air Jordan 1 Black Toes. Don’t bother asking how one can scoop these up or where they can be purchased – only 28 pairs were made (one per person in their size).
