LRG x Forum Snowboards x Special Blend 2008

One of the biggest streetwear labels out there today, LRG, has just teamed up with the snowboard company, Forum Snowboards, and apparel company, Special Blend, to create a series of outterwear and of course, snowboards. The collaboration will include two styles of mens snowboarding jackets/pants and two styles of snowboard. Each item will be limited to only 150 pieces so if you’re looking for some snowboard gear this winter, check it out.

A Bathing Ape Gore-Tex Jackets aat Wonderwall

 

Wonderwall is a Japanese interior design firm headed by Masamichi Katayama. Their most famous work includes all the Bape stores as well as other stores such as Uniqlo. The Shibuya Bape store opened for business a few months ago but if you haven’t been there or experience it for yourself, you can check out these pictures posted here. The Shibuya Bape store features a multi-color LED system for the stairs.

Many have said that Bape has been on a decline (on a street level) since it entered the American markets or when certain hip hop artists started wearing it. But we think that they will make a nice come back this year. We have already seen some better products from Bape this year including the release of the « Black Label ».

Greedy Genius Apache

Greedy Genius made their name by making shoes that are inspired by other popular sneakers. To start off ‘08 with a bang, Greedy Genius has created a new model, the Apache, which is launching in the coming months. It’s inspired by the Air Jordan’s which was very popular in the 1980s-1990s. This shoe features a white and pastel colorways with a clear bottom.

Air Jordan VI Carmine

As part of an upcoming Air Jordan Countdown Pack (two-shoe packs which total 23), the Air Jordan VI Carmine has been revealed as the colorway of choice to go alongside the Air Jordan XVII. The Carmine has long been a holy grail and unattainable sneaker for many due to its only release occurring back in 1991 resulting in expensive mostly unwearable pairs for those lucky enough to have a deadstock pair.

Air Jordan 5 x Air Force 1 Fusion Bright Cactus

The Air Force 1 Fusion integrating the classic Uptown and the Air Jordan has started hitting shelves with a constant stream of upcoming releases. Here’s a look at a projected Black/Bright Cactus colorway. The Bright Cactus can be seen throughout with an embroidered 23, colored mesh and strap. No word yet on availability.

Nike Dunk Be True City Collection

Nike is set to release a « Be True City Collection » to commemorate the Nike Dunk. Seven cities will see a paltry 86 pairs of their city specific colorway released. Nike seem to have actually chosen some quality rich leathers. Aside from the black upper and gum sole, the colorways are only distinguishable by their tags and laces. No word yet on availability.

Bape 07/08 Fall/Winter Collection February Releases

Bape Hong Kong’s first arrival for February is upon us. The releases encompass products such as Roadstas, mesh caps and accessories including belts and bags. The leather Roadstas are available in four different colorways. Releasing on February 2nd at Bape Hong Kong.

The third part of Puma bike series manufactured by Biomega will release this spring features the Puma Glow Rider, with form and function really personifyed. Available in two colourways, one butter milk come green and the other a deep orange which turns a golden orange tone these bikes feature a paint which absorbs the sunrays during the day so when the sun goes down it produces a magnificent glowing effect.
