Bruxe 2008 Collection

After more than a decade of designing accessories and garments for various brands, Rekognize design has launched their own premium brand; Bruxe. Working with some of the best backpack makers in the world, Bruxe aims to create functional bags with clean profiles. The inaugural collection comes in the form of a five piece backpack and bag collection. The bags are available exclusively in black and are made with canvas and laser cut patent leather. The fabrics and trims were chosen especially for their appearance, durability and appeal. Available August 2008 at select retailers in Canada, the US and Japan.

Jordan Brand PHYL

Despite many Air Jordans holding the role of lifestyle products in their own right rather then their original designation as a performance basketball shoe, Jordan Brand has ensured the brand is seen as more diverse than the Air Jordan models of the past which has paved its way to success. With items like the Spiz’ike being held in relatively popular flavor, the PHYL joins the ranks with its Air Jordan inspirations. Two colorways seen here have immediate reference to the AJIII. These are set to enjoy a small ten store release before a full roll out is expected for the summer. Available Saturday, March 15th at Philadelphia’s Ubiq with a price of $85 USD.

Dennis Calvero Collection (Crooks & Castles)

Dennis Calvero is the man and mind behind Crooks & Castles. The brand is especially known for their very strong graphics and thus it only makes sense that Dennis decided to make a series of art prints out of the work he has created for the brand.

Dennis Calvero proudly presents his graphic art on canvas. The release includes three canvas pieces that are signed and numbered. The first release will be limited to 50 sets so make sure to place your orders now. The first set, numbered 1/50, is available for viewing at the 8021 Store, the Crooks & Castles flagship store in LA.

PUMA X No Mas First Rounds LE

With gambling comes risk, and Professional Basketball’s Draft is always a gamble. The irony of the draft is unpredictable and often can make or break a team’s goal of creating a dynasty.

To capture this feeling PUMA and No Mas teamed up and released the PUMA X No Mas First Rounds LA to further celebrate last year’s exhibition of “The Lottery”. This month, the PUMA First Round is inspired by the city of Boston and the loss of a rising star. Highlights of the PUMA X No Mas First Rounds LE include black on black leather with embroidered lottery balls, three sets of laces with “No Mas” branding on the lace tips and the outsole, and a band on the collar of the shoe saying “RIP”.  The band represents the armband that team members wear when they are mourning the loss of a teammate.

A very limited number of pairs will drop exclusively at BODEGA Boston on Monday, March 17th. Just in time to celebrate the life and death of a Boston draft pick that could have carried the team into their glory years, when they were winning back to back championships.
