If you’re one of those sneakerheads who get aggy when someone else is flossing the same kicks as you, look into Starks Laces. The NYC-bred company offers tricked out shoestrings that breath new life into everything from Jordan reissues to your Timberland shit-kickers. Recently the brand hooked up with Huf to pump out three different colorways for the “Quake” collection. The newest batch of laces take inspiration from a variety of sources like rain, Burton’s [ak] Half Life jacket, and A Tribe Called Quest’s The Low End Theory album cover. Look for Starks to put their dime-bagged packaged threads to more use by dipping into the lacrosse shooting-string game this Spring. To cop some heat head over to Starks’ online shop.

adidas kicks off their three month celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Forum, with these silver models that are limited to 500 pairs. In 1983, the Forum was the end-all-be-all when it came to a technical basketball shoe thanks to its unmatched ankle support. In April, the three-stripes gives back to four retail spots that have been down with the brand for the last two and a half decades, by giving each store their chance to design a Forum that captures the swag of the respective cities. Harputs in San Francisco, Walters in Atlanta, Moe’s in NYC, and Puffer Reds in Detroit will each stock special make-ups limited to 500 pairs globally. Peep the in-store collabo kicks after the jump, and check back in with us next week to see the other forthcoming Forums.
