Air Yeezy’s: Olympic Colorway

The latest color up of the Air Yeezy to surface were made to pay homage to this year’s Olymipics. Snapped at a recent concert, the uppers feature dark navy leather, a gray tounge and a red/white strap. Rumor has it Kanye will wear them at the second round of his Glow in the Dark stops.

Ferrari California Is Topless In 15 Seconds Flat

Once upon a time, the hardtop was an outcast in the world of convertible cars. They were too slow to convert, too bulky to store and too expensive to be worth it for most folks. But after years of flimsy ragtops dominating the industry, the release of the new Ferrari California could be a sign that the hardtop is officially running shit now.

In a first for the Italian sports car manufacturer, they’ve created a multi-piece roof system that moves in unison for an amazingly efficient conversion. In a new video, Ferrari show that you can put the California’s hardtop up or down in under 15 seconds, which is a new record. We could also throw a bunch of technical info at you about how the V8 engine allows you to go from 0 to 60 in less than 4 seconds, but we’d rather just play with the roof. Nike SB July Preview

The month of July will be heavily anticipated by Nike SB heads everywhere. With the previous purchase of a $30,000 Nike eBay Dunk for charity on (where else) eBay, anxious SB fans are keeping all eyes and ears open on what the folks at Nike SB will do next. Before the madness begins for new SB’s coming out for July, here’s just a small preview of what some can expect. As for an appetizer, these Nike eBay Dunk socks will probably see a release alongside the new SB’s. The socks along with the new sneakers will be available in July at Nike SB stockists worldwide.

Jordan Brand “Wine & Grind” Pack | Paris Exclusive

For the Parisian streetball tournament Quai 54, Jordan Brand will be releasing a special “Wine & Grind” pack. The pack consists of the Air Jordan V Fusion (Wine) and the Jordan Esterno (Grind). The pack will be released on 4th of July exclusively in Paris invery limited quantities. The 170 pairs of the Jordan V Fusion will be distributed between Opium and Colette in Paris. The 155 pairs of the Jordan Esterno will be released at Footlocker in Paris. Via LaMJC.

Han Cholo x Puma First Round

A few teasers of the collaboration between Puma and LA based jewelery co. Han Cholo have hit the web so far, but this (finally) is the full retail version. Metalic gold with purple, there is both a nod to a jewelery trade stock material (gold) and the home town Lakers. Chain print laces and Han Cholo name in old english script flesh out the Han Cholo brand identity on the First Round silhouette.

Exclusive to the Han Cholo shop in Echo Park, LA, the sneakers will go for $300. (via URB).

NIKE Fukuoka Dunk

As part of Nike’s Japanese City Dunk Pack, the Fukuoka Dunk will see its release this weekend. The multi-colored offering features a bold colorway with the use of patent leather and etched highlights on the heel. For those interested, the colorway pays homage to an ancient 750 year old festival titled Yamakasa which features colorful shrines. Available June 28th at select retailers in Japan.

West One “Anti-Graff” Exhibition in Paris

West One co-founded the pioneering Street Wear brand PNB Nation back in the early 1990’s, as well as the And Suns label in Japan. Currently he is behind the scenes at Supreme directing their special projects – including collaborations with Mike Tyson, Kermit the Frog, Bad Brains, etc,. Outside of his history in the Street Wear world, West is a legendary Graffiti artist who has been painting trains and walls since the mid 1980’s. In the past several years West has been a driving force in the movement of Abstraction in Graffiti Art. His latest collection will be premiering in a solo exhibition at the Magda Danysz Gallery in Paris on July 5th. The exhibition features a collection of large scale paintings and drawings that deconstruct lettering forms. A documentary short film exploring the thinking and process of West’s work will also be shown in the gallery’s lower level. If you are in Paris in July don’t miss this monumental show.

Shape-Shifting Dynamic Skyscraper Powers Itself

It’s official: Dubai is the greatest city on earth. Not only do they have artificial islands shaped like palm trees and a ski resort in the middle of the desert, but they’re now building the most mind-blowing apartment building ever imagined. Designed by Italian architect David Fisher, the 80-story Dynamic Skyscraper gives residents the ability to completely change their view. With the use of a simple voice command, the apartment’s entire floor can rotate 360 degrees.

While most skyscrapers are constantly battling the effects of wind, the Dynamic building uses the wind’s rotation to generate power for the entire building. As if that wasn’t enough, residents can park cars inside their apartment using a special elevator. With plans for a smaller version in Moscow, work on the Dubai skyscraper is expected to be completed in 2010. Apartment prices range from $3.7 million to $36 million, so get your bid in now.

Takashi Murakami x Louis Vuitton “Monogramouflage” Collection

Last summer, the forefront runner in the Japanese pop-art movement, Takashi Murakami exhibited a series of art pieces at the MoCA. The exhibition included a never before seen consumer angle which included a capsule of items created by Murakami in conjunction with Louis Vuitton. New for this season is another updated set of releases between the two powerhouses in their respective fields. The Monogramouflage collection represents an interesting integration of camoflauge into the world of high fashion from its roots as a tool of combat. Items seen here include bags and select accessories which are available now at Louis Vuitton retailers.

Versace x Lamborghini LP640

In a partnership of ultra-luxury, Versace and Lamborghini have revisited a partnership which began in 2006 as they create another version of the exclusive LP640. Coming complete with a range of leather goods including bags, gloves, belts and other accessories, the LP640 in itself has also undergone a Versace aesthetic treatment. The engine hood features a transparent hood to showcase the rip snortin’ V12, nappa leather clad seats and a hand-embroidered Versace motif throughout the car.

Look for the Versace x Lamborghini LP640 to be available at select dealers and Versace outlets.

Dave’s Quality Meats x New Era 59FIFTY Fitted Cap

To coincide with the recent release of Dave’s Quality Meats’ Safari Blazer, look for three New Era caps to release, each featuring the similar use of Safari print. In a new project by Jordan Brand, Michael Jordan’s 6 NBA Championship career will be remembered in a special box set featuring a special ring pendant. The gold pendant features a Jumpman ring which includes a time-line of Jordan’s championship achievements, a dust bag and box. No word yet on availability but should definitely find its way into the collection of any Jordan die-hard.

Tommie Smith x Puma Clyde Pack

Initially we only expected the Tommie Smith x Puma Clyde Pack to consist of two colorways. Now we can confirm that it will consist of a total of 4 Clydes, some more loud in terms of design than others, overall a good balance. Tommie Smith was a legendary sprinter, who turned famous at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico. Via LaMJC.

Supra Fuel Collection

Most of the time we only report about the Supra footwear, but today we also show you some of their accessories out of the Fall ‘08 collection. The Fuel Series is out favorite and it consists of a backpack, wallet and belt. It comes in both black and red and is made with a wrinkled patent leather.

Expect it to be in stores some time this summer.

New Balance 574 “Raggae”

We present you the new New Balance 574 “Raggae”. It’s certainly a theme that we do not see the first time on a sneaker and probably also not the last. What we like in the New Balance execution is the consequence. The upper comes in a mix of black nubuck and patent leather. The rasta colors appear on the several levels of the sole, which we have not seen before, and even the stitching and the tongue logo come in matching colors. To round it off, they used some 3M on the logo and the back heel.

Nike SB Skate Pack ‘08

Since several seasons now, Nike SB also offers a backpack and some matching accessories, including wallets and pouches. So far it most of the time came featuring the elephant print, which was nice, but definitely not exciting. Today we give you a preview of the Nike SB Skate Pack ‘08, which is definitely a great piece.

Their new backpack is very technical, comes with a multitude of compartments and an overall interesting choice of colors and premium materials, nothing like we have seen before from them. In terms of style the pack reminds us a little of this seasons collection by Raf Simons for Eastpak.

adidas adicolor x Kaihara Denim

We previewed this pair a couple of months ago and today we can give you a detailed look and lots of background information on the upcoming adidas adicolor x Kaihara Denim shoe.

Courtesy of a collaboration with world renown Japanese denim fabricators Kaihara, these adicolors have been ready customised using premium denim fabric with selvedge tri stripe design and soft tan leather lining to compliment a denim jacket also crafted from the same denim as shown below.

Denim fabricators Kaihara have been in the business of processing, producing and selling the highest quality of denim fabrics since 1951. During their time in business Kaihara have produced high quality denim for some of the largest clothing companys in the world.

Hanon will be getting them in in August.

Once again Takashi Murakami gets together with Japan’s Base Control on some t-shirts. This time the iconic flower by the artist decorates the t-shirt. The design has been embroidered onto the t-shirt, which is available in black and white now at Cliff Edge.

We first received news on the Air Jordan 6 (Six) Rings model months ago, but all we had were blueprints. We knew that they were a hybrid of several Air Jordans, including the:

• Air Jordan 8 (VIII) – Fuzzy tongue logo, Velcro strap

Many fanatics thought that the shoe was ugly, or at least what they saw from the sketches. But after several glimpses of the actual design, the Air Jordan 6 (Six) Rings has started to grow on us, and to tell you the truth, they’re way past decent. In fact, they may be the next big thing from Jordan Brand. We now bring you an exclusive look at this interesting and unique shoe, which is not set to release officially until August 16,2008, but is now available at the Brooklyn based boutique, Brooklyn Sneaker Box.
