Jordan Six Rings Laser Edition

The Air Jordan Six Rings surely has been a either love it or hate it shoe coming this summer. So far we have seen a black and red version and the Olympic USA color way of this sneaker. Now Marqueesole has released pictures of the lasered version of the super hybrid from Jordan Brand. As you have probably heard us tell you a million times, the Jordan Six Rings is composed of the SEVEN Air Jordans that Michael wore in route to winning his SIX NBA Rings. Nike Uptempo Olympic Colorway

These Uptempo’s follow the ever so popular Olympic color way theme as you see the red and blue accents with the white uppers. The ever so popular AIR on the side of the shoe is made of a 3M material that shines into a lighter blue colorway as light hits the material on the shoe. Many people forget that although Scottie Pippen was part of the original Dream Team, he did come back in 1996 and help lead the Americans to another gold medal. During those Olympics, he wore the Nike Air Uptempo, in a similar colorway. These are now available at Footlocker’s House of Hoops in Harlem, New York.Thanks to Kicksonfire

Air Jordan 6 Rings White/Dark Concord-Black

The Jordan 6 Rings, like its hybrid predecessors, is much a love/hate shoe, but to bring some familiarity to an unfamiliar product, Jordan Brand has assembled the shoes in timeless Jordan 11 colorups. Previously we have shown you the “Playoff” aka Black/Red Jordan 6 Rings, but so too does the “Concord” color makes its way to this shoe.This time around, one won’t have to worry about soles yellowing as this pair of Jordan 6 Rings has a white rubber outsole. The “panther pods” of the sole bring the Concord color as well as the Jordan 8 esque pattern on the midfoot plate. The Air Jordan 6 Rings’ debut will take place this weekend, August 16th, but you will have to wait on the Concord colorway until late October unless you are willing to spend extra with Sole-Locker to have them early.

Converse Spring 09′

Here is a preview at Converse’s 2009 Spring line of shoes. With some plain colors, as well as some bright colors, there is a Converse for everyone. They are also bringing back the Retro 80’s Jam theme back on the shoe. There is also a sneaker that they are coming out with that resembles a Supra, with a Converse twist to it. Converse is working on some serious stuff for the year 2009, so be tuned for some big things.

Patrick High Loop Sneaker

European shoe manufacturer Patrick creates a new silhouette in their sneaker archives. The High Loop provides not only for a flashy club shoe but uses the sleek high top design to its advantage. Constructed with a suede and metallic dot upper, these surely are not for the average Joe, but the High Loop is a new look on the market that can be very versatile. Coming in three different colorways including grey, green and purple, all are now available select retailers including Atmos Japan.

David Z. x Clarks “Metal Pack” Wallabee

In participating with the Olympic spirt, David Z. has teamed up with Clarks to create the Metal Pack on the British footwear’s iconic Wallabee. The high quality leather features a deliberate wrinkled treatment with a black patent leather trim. These represent some of the boldest offerings ever for the Wallabee which has traditionally be released only in relatively subtle styles. The Metal Pack will release on Thursday, August 21st at DavidZ.com and in-store at their Broadway New York location. Pre-orders begin August 13th.

Nike Sportswear Air Max 95 Chili Red

Under the Nike Sportswear umbrella, Nike has re-released a classic Air Max 95 colorway in the form of Chili Red. Released only in the United States at Foot Action, the style is a throwback to the early era Air Max 95s with an overall balanced colorway. While most stores only got 12 pairs per location, Bridge currently has a few pairs on hand.

Casio G-Shock 2008 Fall/Winter Crazy Colors Collection

Expanding their palette of colors into more readily available releases, Casio G-Shock has created a new collection for the 2008 fall/winter season which features the theme “Crazy Colors”. Each design features highly contrasting colorways to create a series of bold timepieces. The styles revolve around two of G-Shock’s most popular models, the DW-6900 (round) and the DW-5600 (square).

Puma First Round Womens Polka Dots

Recently taking front and center stage among Puma’s original collection of basketball kicks, the First Round is seen here in this latest theme featuring a basic polka dot pattern. Both uppers are comprised of a mixture of patent leather and suede/velour with the polka dots seen exclusively on the patent leather. Also included are a set of satin laces. Black and purple colorways are part of the pack which is available now at Overkill. Despite being a womens release, sizes are all the way up to a US 9.5.

BBC/Ice Cream Fall 2008 “Diamond & Dollars”

First pieces of the new BBC/Ice Cream Fall 2008 collection are getting into stores today. The first thing that jumps into the eye is their new Mid cut sneaker. In this first delivery it comes in a red/white and a black/white colorway. They also released their deck sneaker in two canvas colorways – red and black. All footwear comes with a “Diamond & Dollars” all-over print on the upper.

Matching the new sneaker line-up, BBC/Ice Cream offers a range of luggage, including duffle bags and backpacks, in red, black as well as military green.

In our modest opinion, the silhouettes of the footwear are good, just give them a more subtle design and you are good to go.

adidas Originals x Diesel 2008 Fall/Winter Collection

Following up on their debuting collection in spring/summer of this year, adidas Originals and Italian denim brand Diesel have brought forth another collection titled “Original ways to successfully waste MORE time”. Each pair features minimalistic elements of branding but incorporate familiar icons such as adidas’ 3 Stripes and the Trefoil under some interesting material choices such as 3M and leather. Men’s styles include the adi-Viker and the adi-Thanaz brought forward from last season as well as the inclusion of two new styles, the adi-Larkee and adi-Heeven. Look for these at select adidas Originals stores worldwide.

Supra Skytop “Timbo” and Spring ‘09 Collection Preview

So great has the impact of Timberland been that any wheat-colored footwear cannot escape the references or parallels to the popular boot. Case in point these upcoming 2008 spring Skytops which have already earned the nickname “Timbo” for their tan suede uppers and matching laces. Concrete release info will be available closer to the drop date.

With fall/winter collections barely in stride, a look into the Supra 2009 spring collection has been unveiled. The Supra collection expands to its largest roster of sneakers yet with over 10 different models and this represents just the main collection itself. Styles include the Skytop, Suprano, Suprano Hi, Diablo, Cruizer, Sport, Vaider, Cuban as well as the addition of three brand new models, the Skylow 1.5, Vega and Vaider Low. Although no shoe will be released in Terry Kennedy’s name, definitely look to see t he eclectic skater get his own signature down the line.

Nike Court Force Hi “Aged Leather Pack”

Recently we previewed the “aged leather” pack of Nike, consisting of two Court Force  Lo’s that will be releasing this fall. Single color upper, with a subtle contrast of a white mid-sole. Similar color blocking is featured in the new green suede Court Force Hi. Major DC has them in stock now.

Ato Matsumoto Fall/Winter 2008 Cow Hide Boot Line-Up

Designer Ato Matsumoto is probably best known outside of Japan for his Cow Hide Boot, the high top sneaker worn by Kanye West and some other stars.

Here we present you now the colorways of the boot that will be available for Fall/Winter 2008. This season they will be coming out in black, silver, white and red. All of them come in a mix of leather and patent leather.

Expect them to soon released at Rowgage.

Kanye’s Collabos: Will They Come Out?

Yesterday, Mr. West was seen stopping by the GAP headquarters here in New York before his batshit awesome final Glow In The Dark concert at Madison Square Garden. We’re guessing he’s not picking up a new wardrobe—although he’s made it clear in numerous interviews that he fucks with Gap white tees on the regular. Could this mean that a GAP collaboration clothing line is coming down the pike?

These days, it seems like every designer and company wants to get down with ’Ye. But with a slew of collabos already in the works, it seems unlikely that all of them will see the light of day. To help separate hype from reality, we compiled Kanye’s top rumored collaborations and tried to predict the likelihood of an actual release.

Pharrell Williams featured in Russian Vogue

For the August 2008 edition of Russian Vogue, Pharrell Williams is featured alongside supermodel Natasha Poly, fitted is his best Louis Vuitton and BBC. With well known photographer Terry Richardson at the helm, this editorial piece is causing quite a stir.

Pharrell & Kanye @ “Everybody Nose” Remix Video Shoot

It seems every other day we get a behind the scenes glimpse of this green screen footage. We already got to see Pusha’s footage of him running through his verse on the set now we get to see a sneak peak of Yeezy and P. These sneak peaks are good and everything but this better be the best video ever after all the pre-game hype. Word is the official video is dropping this week (thank God) and we’ll have that up as soon as it comes out. But for now just gawk and Kanye’s snakes skin baseball jacket.

Nike “Beautiul Losers” Dunk Collection

On the 8th of August the Beautiful Losers will open in New York at the IFC Center.

“Presented by NIKE SPORTSWEAR, the film chronicles the lives and creative process of artists including Shepard Fairey, Margaret Kilgallen, Mike Mills, Barry McGee, Jo Jackson, Chris Johanson, Harmony Korine, Stephen Powers, Geoff McFetridge, Thomas Campbell and Ed Templeton, among others, whose DIY attitudes informed the aesthetics and ethos of their generation.

To further commemorate the film’s release, Nike’s Sportswear’s JESSE LEYVA has also created a series of 22 Beautiful Losers Dunks emblazoned with iconic stills from the movie using the company’s new high-resolution digital printing process. Says Aaron Rose of the project, “We went back to the documentary and pulled frame stills of what we felt were key moments in the narrative. We used these moments to tell the Beautiful Losers story using the shoes as a medium, with the end result being a collection of works of art.” Viewed together, the shoes reflect the overall narrative of the film, and after being exhibited at the NYC and LA “Make Something!” workshops, two sets of the shoes will be auctioned off with proceeds donated to the Children’s Aid Society.” Via Supertouch.

As mentioned above, two sets of the shoes will be auctioned very soon. We cannot remember the last time we were as excited about a set of shoes – a true collectors piece.

Supra Greco Suprano High

Following up on the success of various popular high top models including the Skytop and Vader, Supra introduces the Jim Greco signature Suprano in a new and improved version. Usually a shoe goes from a high top to a low but in this case, Greco went with the complete opposite leading to a more refined sneaker. Along with clean lines and a simple upper, the Suprano High features a removable strap, the SupraFoam cushioning system as well as a stylish patent leather treatment. With the release of the all white version, will come a black/red Suprano as part of the new TUF collection. Check with your local Supra retailers for availability.

Custom Nike ‘Glow In The Dark’ Dunks

Designer ONE20SEVEN hit me up VIA email with some pictures of these pretty interesting Nike Dunks. Using a glow in the dark pair of Dunks as the base ONE20SEVEN added a neon green light strip around the Nike Swoosh to make em glow even more. The light is powered by 2 AA batteries hidden behind the tongue of the shoe with easy button snap access. They dont just light up a solid green neon though, 2 settings have been added where you can change them from either solid or strobe. They also have a tennis ball fur lining and insole but you cant notice that in the pictures, so just make a note of it. Only 2 pairs have been done, 1 for a customer and another personal pair for ONE20SEVEN himself. Air Force One ‘Criminal Minded’ Custom Sneakers

Im loving these Air Force Ones known as Criminal Minded. Designer Illego is the brains behind the design which includes the use of some cool looking straps made out of snakeskin and carbon fiber. The idea is inspired by the limited edition (365 pairs) Etnies RockSteady Hi which came out mid year in 2006. The stripes on the toe box have a very nice contrast between the matte and glossy finish. Illego used a high gloss finish on that and mixed pearlescent powder with the black to give it a very subtle blueish shimmer when viewed up close in bright lighting. The straps which were used on these sneakers are carbon fiber on the outside with purple and black snakeskin on the inside of them. The high ankle strap which connects to the entire heel piece was from a black patched fabric material. Lastly purple quilted fabric was stitched to the back of the tongue. Illego did an amazing job with these, if i could get them in a size 13 i would most defiantly cop. Check out more pictures after the jump and leave your comments for Illego.

Nike Jordunk Custom Sneaker

Take a look at these crazy custom Jordunks designed by Illego. Whats nice about these, besides for the sneakers themselves, is the custom box that Illego designed to go along with them. Starting with the box, Illego constructed it using the same fabric he used on a previous pair of custom sneakers known as the Criminal Minded Air Force Ones. The bottom panel of the box is made out of red satin and theres some embroidery on the side panel which includes the Air Jordan Jumpan logo along with Illegos name. Theres an embroidered logo on the satin red bottom panel as well. The sneakers were made using original Nike Air back pieces and an original Air Jordan III tongue from 2001. The heel panel and frontal was made using charcoal denim and designed with the elephant pattern to give a velvet finish to it. Lastly Illego added his tag to the back of the tongue. The sneakers along with the classy looking custom box makes for a very nice combo and something im sure a lot of Jordan fans can respect.

Nike Court Force High Grey/Metallic Silver

The Court Force High gets a brand new color up in this tonal and metallic combo. Sitting on a white and grey midsole, the uppers are treated to a mix of nubuck, suede and leather with metallic stitching on the tongue tab.

An overall solid sneaker by Nike, with just the right amount of silver. It is now available at Size?.
