Since word broke a few months ago about a sneaker project done by Kanye West and Louis Vuitton info was scarce and kept under wraps. Photos finally surfaced of (most) of the lineup recently, but pricing has still been a bit of a mystery and a guessing game – until now. Late last night, a Nice Kicks reader sent us information about the upcoming Kanye Westx Louis Vuitton shoes including the prices and the names of each model. The men’s collection consists of three models, the Louis Vuitton Don’s (most likely named after Ye, but also could be a shout to Don C, his manager), Jasper’s (named after Kanye’s barber), and the Mr. Hudson’s (named after the GOOD Music artist and 808 collaborator of the same name). Insa shows us some images of a new rooftop installation he set up recently in London using his trademark legs imagery and heels.
Having already seen various interpretations from Nike’s Bespoke program, we now get a look at a pair or Nike Air Force 1’s done up by Pete from New York’s Premium Laces. The kicks are highlighted by the almighty elephant print along with clear soles, 3M paneling, and patent leather swoosh. Topped off with “Sky” lace locks representing his daughter and you’ve got a winner.

The Jordan Brand camp unleashes a flurry of colorways for their 2009 Spring/Summer range of footwear. Having already seen a handful of Air Jordan 1 releases already into the new year, this collection comes as no surprise. A pretty nice new Nike Terminator Hi Quickstrike has been released. It comes in a white/turquoise/purple/orange colorway with a triangular perforation on the white leather. The turquoise comes in patent leather, the purple in leather and the orange on the heel looks like nylon.
The Nike Terminator Hi Quickstrike is now available at Shelter.
POW! the infamous rings and necklaces by Teriyaki Boyz’s Verbal continue to make their way around the globe. This time they created a special ring and necklace for colette, in their trademark blue. Both pieces are now available in the colette online store.
Here we show you another belt from Original Fake. Similar to the previous one, this was also produced by Medicom Toy, and features Kaws’ trademark Chompers graphic along the entire belt. It is now available in two colours at Colette for €480.

Just recently, Supra’s new ‘Tie Dye Grey’ pack started arriving at retailers. The pack consists of a Skytop, a Strapped and a Trinity, each utilizing a grey nubuck upper. You can find them now at Factory 413.

Rega Research Ltd. is a high-end audio equipment manufacturer based in the UK. Founded in 1973, the company’s name was formed of the initials of its two founders (RElph & GAndy). Historically Rega are best known for the Rega Planar turntable, but in recent years the company has diversified into a range of other hi-fi products.
Lagerfeld was quoted commenting the instrument: “Coco Chanel had an affair with Stravinsky, mine was with a guitar.” It was launched in the SS09 fashion show with models strutting rock inspired garb. No word on who produced the instrument for Chanel. The instrument and case’s ticket price is £2800.

Today, Alife Rivington Club revealed news about their latest project, which is a collaboration with Nike on an all-white Air Force 1. The upper is made from white leather, which was embossed with several stars. The midsole also features the same embossed leather, and the lining is also white leather. The release date is next Saturday, March 14th at Alife Rivington Club.

Back in January, we reported that Kanye West had designed sneakers for Louis Vuitton. We now have the rest of the colourways of both the high top and low top, which was named the Don. These are expected to release in June. No word on the price, yet. Stay tuned.

The Nike Air Yeezy will release in Spring 2009. Three colorways will be available. The first in April 2009 will be the Zen Grey/LT Charcoal color way, followed this will be followed in May by a Black/ Black version, and in June with the final Net/Net color way.

Chicago bred Christian Rich hit the blogosphere with an Electronic inspired menacing sounding track entitled “Stacks”. The band is mostly known for their production work with the likes of Lil Kim and early Clipse records, but here they stand out on their own with a song that would sound just as comfortable on Hip Hop radio as it would at a sweaty dance club. The sound is built on the repetitive, braggadocious chorus by none other by Mr. Carter himself. Download the track below.
