The newly released Nike Air Elan and Royal Mid silhouettes just released in some nice premium looks. The Air Elan Premium comes in a nice light grey suede colorway with embossed Swoosh and metallic silver tongue. The Royal Mid comes in white with gold tongue and in all silver metallic. Overall a pretty clean pack. It is now available from Six Feet Down.
Vael is introducing an interesting new high top sneaker as part of their Fall/Winter 2009 Collection – the Terminatrix. The sneaker comes in a nice premium leather with an overall interesting construction and great details, including lacing and a zipper, contrasting stitching, beautiful branding and a nice clean white sole.
For Fall 2009 Marc Jacobs present some new High Top Sneakers. The sneaker comes with a quilted pattern on the side-panels and a mid-ankle strap. It will be available in black, bordeaux and white leather, as well as black and grey nylon. We prefer the nylon on the mode, because the leather seems a little too shiny and attention seeking.
The latest Nike Air Force 1 to come from the 1World project is a collaboration with soccer player Rio Ferdinand. The sneaker comes in a white premium leather colorway, with a see-through gum sole and gold embroidery details on the tongue logo and the heel. The sneaker was released today exclusively at the Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer Store in NYC.

Talk about a sexy car, this one is borderline amazing. The sleek styling is one thing we expect from Inifiniti but they shattered the figurative glass ceiling with their, well, glass ceiling. This concept car boasts 592 hp and is a gasoline/electric hybrid car.
We last heard from Alive last year when – among others – they worked together with Benny Gold on their Quad City Project. The Japanese brand most recently teamed up with LRG for their new collection on the Icon watch. It features a white face, gold case, and brown leather band. Expect the watch to release in the near future.

First shown at The Detroit motor show in 2004, the Concept T was designed in Volkswagen’s California design studio and is a crossover vehicle mixing elements of sports car, beach buggy and off-roader. Part of a long line of sporty off-road show cars, the Concept T distinguishes itself through stylish detailing and an avant-garde interior.
The body is a mix of sensuous, muscular surfacing and technical componentry, matching a strong rear fender and coupe-like volume with innovative, some might say quirky, features (the stainless steel tailpipes are located inboard of the rear lights, to improve the ramp angle at the back of the car for when you are hitting the big dunes). This latter feature also neatly echoes the tail lights of the mark five Volkswagen Golf, keeping the whole thing in the family, even if it is a lot wilder than its production stablemate, the Touareg
No matter how you try, it isn’t always easyto accessorize with the color pink in your wardrobe. That might change as watch label INDEPENDENT introduce its collaboration with online shopping network ZOZOTOWN. As a relatively newcomer to the timepiece industry, INDEPENDENT has challenged conventional thinking with flamboyant designs.
The new collaborative model is no different. Based on its ITA21 model, the INDEPENDENT x ZOZOTOWN watch feature a black machined dial face accentuated with pink dials and hands. Encased in a polished aluminum casing, the watch comes with a handsome black leather band intertwined with a pink nylon base. Battery powered, the quartz movement watch retails for JP¥ 23,110 (~US$ 240) with a limited run of 200 units. All of which will only be available at FIEIL chapter of ZOZOTOWN. Expected to launch early June, the timepiece will be available for pre-order starting next Tuesday, May 19th.

When Nixon launched a few years ago , they had my attention due to their smart and fun approach to marketing, the skater vibe an the fact that their womens watche were not too dainty. Nonetheless I reverted to my snobby old school watch strandard and kind of forgot about them, until they released a highly exclusive and limited 42-20 at legendary women’s boutique, Henri Bendel. The 42-20 features a genuine white, stingray strap, a diamond encrusted bezel, sapphire crystal and a Swiss Made automatic movement. There are two limited 42-20’s available and on-sale now at the New York City Henri Bendel thru May 11.
Utilizing two all-new models, the ZUB ZENH (Horizontal) and ZENV (Vertical), New York-based watchmakers Nooka work up a new collaboration alongside premier children’s network, Nickelodeon. The collection celebrates the 10th Anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants with two timepieces inspired by the character and “Bikini Bottom” being available. Scheduled to release throughout 2009-10, the watches for men and women, will see a retail price tag of $170 and $275, respectively.
Continuing on a popular trend these days, the Reebok Pump Fury enjoys the benefit of full customization under YourReebok. Starting with a carte blanch, you’re given a pretty free reign over the entire shoe with a good selection of colors to pick from. While originally customization processes often left more popular models out of the loop with unflattering color choices, as of late we’ve seen things really open up from many brands. Finally we get a look at the actual product to release out of a collaboration from Zaha Hadid Architects and Lacoste. Obviously the concept is what really counts in this cooperation, we doubt that we will see too many people on the street with the boots.

Limited to 850 pairs, the boots will be released in July at colette, 10 Corso Como and Dover Street Market.
Another great sneaker is coming from the current Lanvin Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. The sneaker features a purple nylon upper mixed with brown patent leather toe box and piping. The white rubber sole keeps the sneaker clean. The sneaker is now available from Browns.
We have to admit, we did not see this one coming. After Sophnet and Visvim, here comes the Wired h collaboration with Crooks & Castles. The iconic chain graphic of the LA brand appears in red and green around the dial, along with a logo placement on the dial. The watch will be released in July in Japan, with only very limited quantities coming to the Crooks & Castles 8021 flagship store on Melrose in LA.
Here we have a new set of decks by Zoo York. Their ‘Graffiti Series’ decks were inspired by Zoo York’s roots, and were designed by French graffiti artist, Gorey. Zoo York is also holding a contest. Often applying an interesting aesthetic to classic pieces of menswear, Flaph has done exactly that with their FP Angel Desert Boots. While conservative colorways are often ground easily covered by many different brands out there such as Clarks, Flaph offers some nice two-tone versions in suede including gray/purple and tan/brown. Both shoes also feature a white outsole. The FP Angel Desert Boots will release at tokishirazu.
The Jordan Camp continues their hybrid renderings with a new silhouette set to release later in the year. Fusing various past Jordan releases, the 60+ is a representation of Michael Jordan’s 60+ point games in the NBA, all of course while wearing his signature lineup. This new model features the familiar Laney High School colorway with the aforementioned elements from iconic models. A slew of other colorways could be expected as we’ve already seen the “Grape” color scheme some weeks back. Stay tuned.

Adding an elegant touch to their already stacked Originals range, adidas works up the Vulcanized Slim. The shoe features a low profile upper with minimal perforated detailing, including an outline of the traditional three stripe motif. Two colorways have now released including a tonal white and metallic bronze colorway, both available at select adidas Originals Concept locations including their Hong Kong Concept Store.

For Fall 2009, Nike Sportswear introduces a new high top sneaker – the Fly Top. The sneaker comes with an all leather upper, which even extends into the mid-sole and it features an ankle strap. Coming in three colorways next season, the Fly Top keeps an overall classic look and is clearly targeted at the lifestyle consumer.
In the middle of the worldwide economic crisis the Swiss watch market does not seem to stand still and continues to innovate. The latest exciting brand to come from the heart of Europe is Snyper.
