We all have that friend that’s always chronically late, so as soon as I saw this clock I knew exactly who it would be perfect for. Designed by Diamantini & Domeniconi and Fabrica, it was first shown at the Palazzo Borromeo during the Salone del Mobile di Milan in April. The On-Time clock’s minute hand clock is bent three minutes forward, definitely a great way to keep you always on time.

Transformers 2, the movie, just had a huge weekend at the box office and Transformer mania hasn’t stopped there. This time around the people at Hasbro have decided to work with a number of different companies to promote the movie via various product collaborations including this pack of 59Fifty fitted caps with hat specialist, New Era. Last night on twitter, the sneaker heads were buzzin’ about Lil Wayne’s sequined Supra Skytops when he took the stage for Young Money’s set. Are they coming out? Did Supra send them to Weezy? Well, the answer to both questions is…no.
Our source at Supra says they had no idea where the customs came from, which means Wayne had them made on his own. We’re guessing one of his Young Money weed carriers hooked up with the same person who customizes Paris Hilton’s sidekicks. SILLY THING Toys has been the talk of the industry since its establishment. Following their Bounty Hunter and The Beatles interpretations, SILLY THING Toys gets set to yet again launch a triumphant collaboration, this time with Marvel Studios and Hong Kong-based Hot Toys. Marking the very first time that they have authorized an original customized version of its characters, Marvel allows SILLY THING founder TK to work up a special colorway, utilizing the 1/6 Mark III as his base. One of the figures highlights includes the use of rare “battle-damaged” paint, which called for a figure re-creation considering the paint would not adhere to the original plastic surface of the Mark III platform. For Fall/Winter 2009 Dior Homme is introducing a new Mid Top model into their popular range of sneakers. The shoe comes in three colorways – two light versions and one all black leather colorway. All three are now available along with other Dior Homme styles at Luisaviaroma.
Nigo gives us a look at the Bape x TEPE Toothbrush. There are three colorways of the toothbrush, one being coated in 24k gold. Furthermore the toothbrush features several icons from the Bape graphic catalogue. No word on a release so far.
A clean new pack is coming as part of the Reebok Fall 2009 Collection – the Perfectly Pack. The pack consists of the Insta Pump Fury, Pump Omni Lite and the Court Victory 2. All three come in all white with a triangle embossed leather on the upper. It also looks like the upper features a white pony hair detail around the ankle. The sneakers are now available at Atmos.
First pieces from the BBC/Ice Cream Fall 2009 Collection have been released in Japan. The waffle pattern returns this season in new colorways and is applied on both clothing and accessories. The first drop includes backpacks, duffle bags, as well as denim shorts and t-shirts.

The original Nowhere store was operated in the 90’s by Nigo (A Bathing Ape) and Jun Takashi (Undercover) in Harajuku, Tokyo. Earlier this year, that store front was recreated at Dover Street Market in London, where we have already seen the resurgence of their original Last Orgy 2 brand.
Now we have a look at a collaborative A Bathing and Undercover “Nowhere” sneaker. Set against the iconic Bape green camo, the shoe’s Jack Purcell-like silhouette features an inset “Nowhere” toe cap and a co-branded footbed. These will be available soon at Nowhere’s shop-in-shop at Dover Street Market London.

We take a first look at the upcoming mens bags from the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. Some traditionalists might not like very much what they are seeing, but we are very happy to see the French brand part from their usual patterns, offering something new – new silhouettes, new colors and new materials, while still keeping a distinct look. We are not saying that the classic monogram patterns should entirely disappear from the mens line, but we feel that this new direction is a valid modern take and more appropriate. They offer many new styles, with the backpack being one of the most interesting. It comes in several leather types, including a premium oestrich version.

Stockholm, Sweden based 1MA, or One Man Army has released his (yes, it’s actually run by one man) second collection entitled “Second to None.” With emphasis on simplistic yet high quality garments, the collection consists of tees, crewneck sweatshirts and jackets. The most impressive style is the Windrunner Hind jacket, which has a removable hood and comes in three colors: black, red and blue. We actually thought that the Nixon Rubber Player push was over with the release of the yellow colorway. Sure looks like we were wrong. Today we see the all rubber covered watch in two great new colorways – purple and black. Actually we prefer especially the purple over the previous releases. You can get these two now from 80s Purple.
We’ve already seen plenty colourways of the Air Jordan I this year, and it seems we’ll be seeing more. This latest version features an all-black colourway with a combination of ostrich, nylon and faux reptile materials. No official release date is available, but pre-orders are now being accepted at RMK. mash rating: 5/10
One of adidas’ most iconic sneakers is the Rod Laver. After nearly fourty years, it is still relevant and classic, despite a countless amount of different colourways over the decades. One of the newer versions comes in a white/blue colourway featuring nylon, suede and leather materials. mash rating: 6/10
Though we have seen a couple previews of the “Curry” Air Jordan 1 Phat Low, it seems as though the final style that is now available at retailers overseas has been changed up a bit. Previously, this sneaker hosted a white upper accented by curry colored elephant print, but it now hosts a full curry elephant print upper accented by a white mid-sole, brown laces, white tongue, curry stitching, and a white/brown inner lining. This AJ 1 Phat Low is extremely different from anything we have seen before, and it goes to show that anything is possible when it comes to Jordan Brand. The “Curry” Air Jordan 1 Phat Low is now available at Air Jordan retailers in Shanghai, China, but there is currently no word on a stateside release.

The rumors spread hard and fast once Brand Jordan started releasing their Countdown Packs. "This is the end of retro Jordans!" "They’ll never release individual retros again!" "The sky is falling!" Obviously this is not the case. Here we have a sneak look (no pun intended) of an upcoming Jordan VI release for Spring 2010. This white/black version utilizes a similar colorblocking pattern as the classic Carmines and Olympics, but also adds speckles to the midsole and pulltab. The traditional Jordan VI features-clear outsole, lacelocks-remain unchanged.

A firm focus of the Jordan Brand this year, the Air Jordan I (1) will see another version potentially release down the line here. Known as the “Hall of Fame”, the shoe features a Bulls-inspired colorway combining black, red and hits of white as the middle of the shoe is emblazoned with various scoreboard-style numbers. No word yet on a release date.

The internet has been abuzz with the unfortunate passing of Michael Jackson. One of our generations greatest performers and fully worthy of his title as the “King of Pop”, his legacy will be remembered and carried on for years to come. As Benny Gold put it in a talk I had with him this morning, Michael Jackson is undoubtedly our generation’s Elvis Presley. While he hasn’t been in the limelight or making music as of late (but was set to embark on a tour), his work speaks volumes about his impact on the world as we know it. RIP MJ

After taking somewhat of a hiatus, the Air Jordan Spiz’ike is back in one of the most classic Jordan colorways of all time. There are a few interesting design changes on this model as well, that bring this Spiz’ike even closer to the original Jordan offerings. Most notably, the “Spike” print on the heel and toe has been replaced with Jordan’s iconic elephant print. Judging by past Spiz’ike releases, this black, grey and red colorway is sure to be extremely popular when it drops.
The shoe is scheduled to release in February 2010, but for those of you who can’t wait osneaker.com claims they will soon have a size run in stock. Stay tuned for a closer look in the coming days.
One of the more interesting new releases from Nike is this Talache Low AC ND. Featuring a swooshless upper in what appears to be a mix of different grey materials, this most recent Talache is by far the best looking one we’ve seen so far. The muted color palette is great, but the slimmed down sole has a whole lot to do with our change of heart. Available now at Concepts 37 Brattle St. location.
I like polygons and the graduation collection of Irina Shaposhnikova called ‘Crystallographica’ is full of it. These photos were taken by Sonny Vandevelde, backstage during the Show 2009 of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.
