Michael Jordan Hall of Fame Letterman Jacket

Nike and Jordan brand have come together to produced a very special edition Letterman Jacket to commemorate Michael Jordan’s recent induction to the Basketball Hall Fame. Assembled from premium leather, embroider patches on the left sleeve highlight Jordan’s numerous achievements – including 10 Scoring Titles, 32,992 Career Points, 5 Times MVP, 2,514 Steals, 14 All-Stars. The name “Jordan” in large font is patched in chenille fashion on the centre-back of the jacket. 7 snap button closure, each embossed with the Jumpman logo. Interior is lined with a thin insulation of polyester in a quilted format. The Michael Jordan Hall of Fame jacket is currently available at $450 at Nike’s online store.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII NYC Artist Series

Continuing the artist series efforts for LeBron James’ latest signature sneakers, we get a look into the NYC version, created by local artist Tomokazu Matsuyama. Focusing heavily on a reincarnation theme, Matsuyama encrusted 700 Swarovski crystals into a pair of the kicks, following a Japanese Bubbhist-inspired design utilizing the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4.

A Bathing Ape Five Sta New Releases

Although a bit more of a Summer style sneaker, A Bathing Ape drops three different colorways in their Five Sta runners for Fall/Winter. Following a classic running shoe aesthetic, the kicks boast suede/leather combo uppers with subtle color tones.

Penfield Fall/Winter 2009 Collection Available

Penfield has released their Fall/Winter 2009 collection. Some great classic silhouettes from the early 1970s and 1980s, such as the Rockford down insulated jacket and Kasson parka are updated with shiny aspect ripstop, melton fabric (pictured above) and waxy textures. Vintage inspired details are seen throughout the collection, with the Appalachian Trail and outdoor tradition being main inspirations. Navajo blanket fabric is seen on pockets and hoods, as well as on day packs and satchels. Plaid, leather and mini cord shoulder yokes are visible within the down insulated outerwear category. Nike Auto Force 180 Black/Red

A new colorway of the well received Nike Auto Force 180 has been released. The sneaker comes with a black leather, black mesh and patterned upper. Accents are set in red on the Swoosh, logo placements and around the mid-sole. The sneaker is now available from Finishline. ViaSneakernews.

Bape invades another area of the lifestyle segment and has released some new Baby Milo earphones. The earphones come in black and white and are now available in Bape stores.

Supra Fall/Winter 2009 Skytop Preview

We get a look at some of the upcoming colorways of the Supra Skytop. Without a doubt the most popular model in the Supra line-up, the high top sneaker has come in recent years in very attention seeking outfits. The more shiny the better seemed to be the right formula until now. In the coming months we will see some more subtle looks on the sneaker. Nike Holiday 2009 Auto Flight High QS

The Nike Air Auto Flight comes for Holiday 2009 in a new Quickstrike colorway. The sneaker comes in a classic black/red version, with most of the upper coming in premium black leather. The red is only setting some accents on the lining and the tongue. Look out for a release in October 2009.

Gourmet Spring 2010 Diecisette

Gourmet drops a look into one of their new models called the Diecisette. Featuring a smooth leather upper and 15 hole lacing system, the Diecisette is clean and simple, yet far from typical. After Jean Paul Gaultier, UK designer Paul Smith is the next one in line to design a limited edition bottle for French water maker Evian. The bottle comes with a very clean design and features the signature colors of the designer, along with his signature. The bottle is now available at finer food stores.

Native Shoes Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

We have to admit, we when we first saw Native Shoes in Vegas last week, we were skeptical. But with a Gourmet co-sign you know these are legit. What you see here is the evolution of a product to the next level.  Revamping timeless classics (read: Chucks, Eras, Wallabees) in modern Featherlite EVA (read: Crocs) is the modus at Native, and they’ve done a bang up job. Of course there will be all kinds of haters on this one, but we think it’s kind of refreshing.

Presenting a whole new aesthetic, the ZEM series consists of 16 different watches overall with four face selections, two finish options – mirror or black – and three band styles – black leather, silver, or high gauge stainless steel. Nitro Microphone Underground x Nike Sportswear Air Force 1

Japanese Hip-Hop group Nitro Microphone Underground get the nod of appreciation from Nike as they celebrate the 10th anniversary of their inaugural album. Having done collaborations in the past, this time around they focus on the Air Force 1. The shoe features some interesting notes from the tonal crackle print to the gold foil. References to the years are seen on the tongue as well. The shoes are set to drop next month in September and a matching t-shirt..

Absolut Vodka “No Label” Edition

Following the now popular de-branding aesthetic, Absolut Vodka introduce their “No Label” Edition, further emphasizing the company’s slogan: “In An ABSOLUT World, There Are No Labels”. The meaning of the initiative is to challenge labels and prejudice to make the world more diverse, vibrant, and respectful… through alcohol. Lakai Holiday 2009 Leisure Lean Collection

In effort to combat the (admittedly weaning) fat skate shoe epidemic, Lakai has released a high-quality selection of Lean Coda Hi and Manchester Select styles. “Premium leather in bold colors garner much attention for the Coda Hi while premium logo, tongue, heel and eye stay hits on the Manchester Select differentiate it from the all suede offerings of seasons past.” Two colorways of each model will be available come Holiday 2009. Oh, and just want to put this out there: the Manchester is one of our favorite skate silhouettes of all time. Well done Lakai.
