Flying Lotus x Weezy

It seems like everyone and their mothers have spat a couple bars over the beat to Lil Wayne’s hit track Milli. No one dared to tamper with Bangladesh’s expertly constructed beat deciding to merely remix the song by adding new lyrics. Nevertheless, LA based producer Flying Lotus has released a remix of Milli that flips the script by dramatically altering the beat while Wayne’s verses are left completely intact. The result is a pretty solid joint that has a spaced out feel, which works well with the martian MC. Flying Lotus has been drawing comparisons to producers like J Dilla and Madlib based off of his album, Los Angeles— some new music definitely worth checking out.

THE GAME - DOPE BOYS

We slept on this one for a minute… Here is the newest street single from The Game’s upcoming album L.A.X. This track is called “Dope Boys” and features some live drums courtesy of Travis Barker. The Song Was Produced By L.A.’s 1500 or Nothin’. Overall it’s a pretty good song… The live drums definitely give it a different feel. L.A.X. Drops On August 26th. My only question is who name checks Air Force Twos???

MORE UNRELEASED KANYE

Thanks to Nahright, we bring you two more unreleased Kanye joints. Check out “The Stalker Song (Never Lettin’ Go) and “Jigga Frestyle.” I always like hearing unreleased songs, and seeing what songs never made it to the album. I’m not sure when these tracks were made, but they definitely don’t sound too current.

Star Bape Search Audition

World Renowned Hip Hop/R&B artist Pharrell Williams and Japan’s music producer Nigo from APE SOUNDS are hosting Star Bape Search which is an audition to find the next female R & B artist. The audition will consist of several stages and will be broadcast on the NIGOLDENEYE show through MTV. The winner of the auction will get One Million Yen and also their own debut CD with APE SOUNDS. Nike Dunk Lo SB “Gibson Guitar Case”

Today we start presenting you some of the Nike SB sneakers that are part of the January ‘08 release, but already getting into stores. The Dunk Lo SB probably stands out the most. It has been inspired by the classic Gibson guitar case and thus features a premium brown leather upper and a pink fur lining. The pink also repeats itself on the stitching of the swoosh.
