As a luxuriously minded brand, Gourmet has largely been known for their re-appropriation of various Air Jordan silhouettes however this latest collaboration is a return to their extravagant tastes which was previously hinted at with their jewelry capsule with Christian Tse. The two have become reacquainted once again with what some have called “the most luxurious digital watch in the world”. The digital time display appears through a paved surface of white diamonds. The diamond bezel contains almost 7 ct. on a stainless steel face. The strap itself is a stingray shagreen strap to represent a Gourmet’s clash of high and low.

Samples of a potential Air Jordan I High release have been released. Featuring a clean black upper on a gum sole, the shoe is marked by an intricate laser pattern. Unlike the glut of Air Jordan I releases these are noticeably closer to the originals with a higher cut. No details are known regarding its release date.

Having successful launched the Air Structure Triax ‘91 retro in the beginning of the year, Nike releases another colorway featuring a purple/pink color block with a nice mix of suede and mesh. Under the sportswear moniker, the running sneakers combine lightweight comfort and the utmost performance. This new colorway is releasing at select Nike accounts very soon.

While Kanye West has long been considered a style icon, the fashion world eagerly anticipates Kanye’s own aesthetic in the upcoming launch of his own brand Pastelle. A preview recently surfaced in VMAN as a star studded cast including Rihanna and Lupe Fiasco model upcoming pieces from the Pastelle collection. With accomplished designer Kim Jones (formerly of Umbro by Kim Jones) at the helm, the final product should arguably be another success for Kanye West.

Following a tedious research initiative, Evisu looks to pay homage to Lee Jeans. Much like its well-established competitor Levi’s, Lee also maintains a strong historical background as the denim brand began operations almost 120 years ago in 1889. With Evisu’s homage, they have created the No. 13 LEFT, a left hand twill offering which due to the weaving technique yields a softer overall feel (weaves move from top left to bottom right) relative to the more common right hand twill. Further details and highlights include green caste indigo and mismatched selvedge much like previous Lee denim. The mismatched selvedge line can be attributed to Lee’s previous use of wider denim relative to Levi’s. Well-known for their hand-painted back pocket motifs, Evisu continues the tribute with bull horns like “Lazy S” as well as a an interior label similar to Lee’s labels of the 1930s.
