The Pewter’spair that is going to be released on the same day at the end of January is a bit more limited and has a “Premier” to the end of it’s name, it uses a Metallic like color called, Pewter, on the upper and mixes some additional colors into the shoe which include Black and Max Orange.

Last released in 2001, the Air Jordan III ‘Black/Cement Grey’ will be making a return this Fall as part of one of the Countdown packs. The most noticeable difference between these and the 2001 retroes is the heel plate features the Jumpman logo, and under it the word Air, and not the Nike Air logo. These will release with the Jordan 20 in October.

 Last week we got a look at the Countdown Pack Air Jordan 1 that will make its way in the 1/22 Countdown Pack, but as with any Jordan that is selected, there are always some colors that didn’t make the cut.One that didn’t get picked for the pack was another original color in Black/Grey, but while it is nice to see “what could have been,” the buyer of this sample pair noticed something a little interesting - one foot was the mid top, the other was a high top. Does this mean that high top Air Jordan 1’s aren’t gone for good as we once thought? Possibly down the road will we get a high cut in some OG classic colors? Only time will tell.

Here we show you a picture of Air Force One combined with Air Jordan VI to form the Air Jordan Fusion 6. The shoe comes in mainly white with perforated leather and the black tongue from Air Jordan 6. It seems to have a clear vinyl bottom sole with pink accents along the edge. A nice combination of different elements from both shoes. Set to release in 2009.

According to ajordanxi over at Sole Collector, with all the speculation surrounding the future of the flagship Air Jordan, some confirmed sources have revealed what’s upcoming for the world’s most famous signature. Starting in 2009, the Air Jordan will no longer follow a numerical installment like the past (I - XX3) but rather be named after the release year. This means look for the Air Jordan 2009 (not to be confused with Jumpman 2009) later this year.
In only a few days, the latest installment of the on-going Countdown series will hit stores. The new pack consists of the IV Jordan IV in a ‘Black/Cement Grey - Fire Red’ and a Jordan XIX ‘Black/Chrome - Varsity Red’. Although the official release date is slated for July 19th, a few pairs are already available on eBay.

With the highly anticipated releases of the Air Jordan 23 and the Air Jordan Countdown Packages, these Air Jordan 1 GS releases have been overlooked by many. All four models were released earlier last month in grade school / big kids sizes and portray color schemes featuring bright, vibrant colorways. They included premium materials including leather, metallic based materials, detailed stitching, as well as colorful but still transparent outsoles (exception of the gold color-way). The sneaker which launched a multi-billion dollar industry and captured the hearts and imaginations of many will see an upcoming release as part of the latest Air Jordan bundle in the Jordan 1 | Jordan 22 Countdown Pack. Featuring a black/white colorway, the 1 is similar to current 2008 Air Jordan 1 releases with the most notable feature being a higher cut. The Air Jordan Countdown 1 | 22 pack is designated for a September release.

 It is becoming very clear that Jordan Brand isn’t giving up the Spizike without a fight. Gentry Humphrey was on hand at Quai 54, the biggest streetball tournament in Europe where Jordan Brand is the headlining sponsor. He was spotted wearing a pair of Black/Lime Green-Purple Spizikes that are supposedly another European release for December.Nothing is 100% confirmed, but it would definitely be consistent with the trends for these to be an exclusive overseas or possibly to Opium. The Air Jordan 1 has seen its share of special makeups the last few months. For the Olympics, the show gets a splash of navy, red and silver, much like the VII and VI before. Side embroidery reminds there is no “I” in TEAM. Heads up from Bounce Mag.

For the Parisian streetball tournament Quai 54, Jordan Brand will be releasing a special “Wine & Grind” pack. The pack consists of the Air Jordan V Fusion (Wine) and the Jordan Esterno (Grind). The pack will be released on 4th of July exclusively in Paris invery limited quantities. The 170 pairs of the Jordan V Fusion will be distributed between Opium and Colette in Paris. The 155 pairs of the Jordan Esterno will be released at Footlocker in Paris. Via LaMJC.

In a new project by Jordan Brand, Michael Jordan’s 6 NBA Championship career will be remembered in a special box set featuring a special ring pendant. The gold pendant features a Jumpman ring which includes a time-line of Jordan’s championship achievements, a dust bag and box. No word yet on availability but should definitely find its way into the collection of any Jordan die-hard.

A new Air Jordan 1 has just dropped, appropriately taking inspiration from Michael Jordan’s run on the Olympic Team, unfortunately this simple, silver, white and gold colorway is for kids. MJ represented the United States in the 1992 Olympics the team which was dubbed the Dream Team due the star studded players on the team — Magic, CB, Larry, Drexler, Ewing and a number of other top tier players. Jordan Brand is showing Europe some love with an upcoming Spiz’ike release. While the Spiz’ike is the most favorable Air Jordan hybrid yet, we do anticipate some competition from newly created hybrids like the 6 Rings model. These Spiz’ikes are slated for a Europe only release next month in a black/gold colorway. Look for Paris’ Opium to be among the retailers.
Newest from Jordan Brand comes the Air Jordan 1 Retro Mid which is part of the “Dear Papa” Pack. Just in time for Father’s Day, this Air Jordan 1 comes in a nice brown and white colorway and features a tool box embroidered on the heel of the shoe. Spike Lee announced today that he plans to release a full-length feature documentary about Michael Jordan’s second return to the NBA. Looks like Jordan Brand is beating you over-anxious sneaker bloggas to the punch, by leaking the majority of their fall releases (besides the retros of course) on their website. The latest hybrid-type sneaker that JB will put out is this Olympian, a Jordan X with a funky twist. Given the name of the silhouette, expect the big push for these to come during the heart of the Beijing Olympics.

Before the athletic shoes made it into the lifestyle sector, but the PHLY was fully intended and placed in that market segment right from the start.
