Lacoste Cadmus S

Lacoste’s Cadmus model has been well-received amongst the sneaker heads that favor simplicity over complex designs. After showing you two colorways of the Cadmus UE in the summer, we now have photos of the Cadmus Sin two more colorways.

The Cadmus S features a 100% premium leather base combined with a monochromatic sole, inner lining and shoelaces. As added details, the Lacoste alligator logo is embossed just above the midsole (medial panel) and on the tongue. This Cadmus S (dark navy, cream) will be available at select retailers in Asia. Zaha Hadid x Lacoste Footwear

Finally we get a look at the actual product to release out of a collaboration from Zaha Hadid Architects and Lacoste. Obviously the concept is what really counts in this cooperation, we doubt that we will see too many people on the street with the boots.

“Featuring a digitized version of Lacoste’s famous croc logo and a pliable, coiled strap system, the styles bring Hadid’s signature look to footwear for men (an ankle boot) and women (a calf boot).”

Limited to 850 pairs, the boots will be released in July at colette, 10 Corso Como and Dover Street Market.

Mita x Lacoste Missouri 85 Mid

After giving you a first look earlier this week, we can show you some nice detailed images of the upcoming Mita x Lacsote Missouri 85 Mid today. The Japanese sneaker store Mita, has done a worthy upgrade to the Missouri 85, the probably most popular sneaker by Lacoste, since the inception of their Stealth collection.

The sneaker comes with a black suede upper, purple details on the laces, side-panels and the speckled mid-sole. The heel and lower side-panels are wrapped in croc skin, and the tongue and ankle parts feature a thick mesh pattern. Lacoste branding appears on the strap, the side-panels and on the heel.

Mita will be releasing this collaboration on December 25th.

Lacoste x Zaha Hadid

Quixotic Architect Zaha Hadid, who designed the Chanel Mobile Art Tour in Central Park collaborated with Lacoste on a range of footwear for their Spring 2009 collection. See more after the jump..

The textured leather shoes are designed to wrap around the feet to allow “the evolution of dynamic fluid grids” -as quoted from Zaha Hadid- so the shoe expands and contracts to adapt to the shape of the feet.

The Zaha Hadid collection will launch in 2 phases – limited edition pre-release of 1000 pairs will be available in boutiques and selected stockists from March 2009, while the diffusion range will be available in May.

Lacoste is celebrating their 75th anniversary in 2008 and aside from a dedicated clothing collection for both men and women for the occasion, they also made a footwear line as part of their premium Stealth Collection.

The collection overall consists of 5 styles – Dot, Ardeur, Cabestan,. Missouri and Tennis 91. They all come in a black/white colorway. All shoes in this pack feature embossed original 1933 croc branding, which is exclusive to this range and unseen on any other Lacoste sneakers. Nice is also the addition of their boat shoe into the pack.

The Lacoste 75th anniversary Stealth Pack is hitting stores on July 5th.

A while back we reported about a series of collaborations by Size? and Lacoste. The first model, the Revan 3, was alreadz released, and the Observe 2 has been released today.

The sneakers come with large perforations that reveal neon pops. The sneaker is available in a black/blue and a white/green colorway. You can purchase them now here.

A.R.C. x Lacoste Collection – Polo Shirts

LACOSTE has teamed up with New York’s Alife Rivington Club (A.R.C.) for a limited edition capsule collection of polos and tennis shoes. Images have been circulating for a while already, but now we can give you an exclusive and complete first look at this fascinating upcoming collaboration project. The world famous rare sneaker resource located on the Lower East Side at 158 Rivington Street was opened in 2001 by the ALIFE design studio.

‘The Rivington Club is committed to brands that have a true athletic history’, says Arnaud Delecolle, ALIFE co-founder. ‘A.R.C.’s aesthetic involves classic sports imagery, heritage and tradition. This translates into bold color statements with highly visible and recognizable graphics. When given the opportunity to work on the classic LACOSTE polo shirt, we decided to apply this aesthetic to the garments. We stayed in line with our shop’s colour theme of black, red and purple and decided to increase the scale of the crocodile logo to a truly utilitarian size. The concept being if these shirts were worn on the field, all the graphic elements would serve their purpose of conveying information from a distance.’

A.R.C. also changed some of the shirt’s construction elements to reflect the sturdiness required on rugby jerseys, including the collar and placket system as well as the inside tape on the collars and side vents. There are two polos in two colours each: one features the red A.R.C logo opposing the crocodile on white and black/grey polos, while the other has the gold Rivington Club crest embroidered on the left breast on both red and black polos. All have the number 158 sewn on the back, a nod to their Rivington Street address.

For footwear, A.R.C. stayed with the sports uniform theme to tie in to the polo shirts. They proposed the Ardeur tennis shoe, which was the original LACOSTE performance tennis shoe dating from 1983, in solid colours of white, black, purple and red with the bold A.R.C. logo brandished on the heel. The uppers are tone-on-tone leather with piqué mesh side panels, while the authentic polyurethane mid and outsole provide cushioned comfort. The shoes incorporate A.R.C.’s signature red/black bias striped pattern on the tongue with a white LACOSTE logo, while the leather in-sole features a black/white print and A.R.C. logo.

Once again A.R.C. presents an impressive collaborative project and they managed to infuse their style and philosophy into Lacoste product, without the product loosing its very own Lacoste style and history.

The A.R.C. x Lacoste collection will be released in July at Rivington Club, Barney’s in NYC, Colette, Dover Street Market, 10 Corso Como and select Lacoste doors.
