Perhaps not as well-known for its watch engineering as it is its fashion and luggage offerings, the new Louis Vuitton Tambour Mysterieuse watch makes a strong case for itself. Inspired by movements originally conceived by Jean-Eugene Robert Houdin back in the 19th century, Louis Vuitton’s appropriation carries on the legacy as the watch features on mobile sapphire discs which create a stunning visual arrangement between the mechanics and the markers around the dial. The watch is also fully customizable to the users preferences including parts of the strap and dial.

We take a first look at the upcoming mens bags from the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. Some traditionalists might not like very much what they are seeing, but we are very happy to see the French brand part from their usual patterns, offering something new – new silhouettes, new colors and new materials, while still keeping a distinct look. We are not saying that the classic monogram patterns should entirely disappear from the mens line, but we feel that this new direction is a valid modern take and more appropriate. They offer many new styles, with the backpack being one of the most interesting. It comes in several leather types, including a premium oestrich version.

Two Fridays ago Kanye West and GLC appeared on BET’s 106 and Park to discuss music, upcoming projects, and the Nike Air Yeezy. While we reported on Friday that he proclaimed that Kanye had the hood in mind when designing the $215 Nike Air Yeezys and the $800+ Louis Vuitton sneakers, he did drop a little hint of an upcoming sneaker line that wasn’t previously discussed.
Speaking about his interview in Complex Magazine about the Nike Air Yeezy, Kanye stated the following:
“I wish Nike would give me a deal, I wish Louis would give me a deal. Since that hasn’t happened yet, I am in the process of making my own company from scratch to put out to my people.”
At this point we will have to wait to see what will come of this, but this sounds like an interesting move for Kanye.

Please find all these tees at the TEE section !

Artist Richelieu is made through blake construction, a shoe-making technique for immediate suppleness and comfort. Blake stitching crosses the entire structure of the shoe and is visible on the inside. The thread is embedded in the outsole, making it less vulnerable to wear and tear. The shoe also has an LV cube embedded in the heel and a leather sole.
Artist Richelieu in Calf Leather comes in three colors: Navy, Grey, and Bleu Gris. Exclusively available at Louis Vuitton stores for approximately $900.

With the release of the Kanye West For Louis Vuitton footweaar collection coming closer we can give you a look today at the boat sneakers. Coming with a similar base silhouette as the Don sneaker out of the collection, the main difference is on the front, where the sneaker has a clear boat shoe silhouette and tassles. The sneaker seems to be coming in all white and in grey/pink, the same colorway that we have already seen on a high top sneaker out of the collection. Images via BKRW.
Just like the rest of the collection, these should be hitting stores some time in June. More detailed images of the Louis Vuitton x Kanye West “Boat” Sneakers follow after the jump.
UPDATE: Kanye updates us on the above styles, which seem to be earlier samples. The actual production model features shorter tassles and a lower back, definitely the right choice.

At the Geneva Auto Show, Infiniti presented their new Essence sportscar. The beautiful car does not only impress with its design and its 600 HP hybrid engine, but also with the details. As you can imagine the tunk is pretty small and therefore Infiniti commissioned Louis Vuitton to create a custom luggage collectio, that fits perfectly into the trunk. The outcome is just perfect. Since word broke a few months ago about a sneaker project done by Kanye West and Louis Vuitton info was scarce and kept under wraps. Photos finally surfaced of (most) of the lineup recently, but pricing has still been a bit of a mystery and a guessing game – until now. Late last night, a Nice Kicks reader sent us information about the upcoming Kanye Westx Louis Vuitton shoes including the prices and the names of each model. The men’s collection consists of three models, the Louis Vuitton Don’s (most likely named after Ye, but also could be a shout to Don C, his manager), Jasper’s (named after Kanye’s barber), and the Mr. Hudson’s (named after the GOOD Music artist and 808 collaborator of the same name). See more details about how much the Kanye West for Louis Vuitton collection will set you back when they release in June. |
