LRG x Alive Athletics: Icon Watch

We last heard from Alive last year when – among others – they worked together with Benny Gold on their Quad City Project. The Japanese brand most recently teamed up with LRG for their new collection on the Icon watch. It features a white face, gold case, and brown leather band. Expect the watch to release in the near future.

2008 was the year of the G-Shock, and it seems as though the brand is looking to pick up where they left off for 2009. The first LRG x G-Shock quickly sold out everywhere when it dropped; now the two heavyweights are getting back together for a limited watch that celebrates LRG’s 10 year anniversary.

Only 1,000 units of the rubber-banded watch have been made, and it marks the first time Casio has used the Frogman model for a collaborative project. Sure you might get all the streetwear-chick butt you’d ever want by rocking this on your wrist, but falling in line with G-Shock’s rep for quality functionality, the watch is 200m water resistant, and utilizes solar technology. G-Shock x LRG 10th Anniversary Frogman

Presented here a couple of weeks ago, the LRG 10th anniversary G-Shock Frogman has finally been released. No matter what you might think of LRG these days, the brand deserves congratulations for being 10 years in business and having opened this market to a much larger audience.

The said, the G-Shock Frogman came out really nice. It’s all white and feature a few orange accents, as well as LRG branding printed on the top and engraved on the back. Limited to only 1000 pieces worldwide, the watch comes nicely packaged and is now available here.

To celebrate their 10th anniversary, LRG once again gets together with G-Shock. This time they worked on their flagship model, the Frogman. Coming in all white, the watch features orange branding and comes in nice custom packaging. Via Kanyeuniversecity.

LRG “2 Minutes To Midnight” Jacket

Here something a bit more particular, and certainly not for everyone, but we appreciate the boldness that LRG is putting on the table and to some degree we actually acknowledge the craftsmanship involved in this piece of clothing. We present you the “2 Minutes To Midnight” jacket.

Weighing in at a whopping 35 pounds and a matching $2000 price tag, the LRG jacket features lots of cut & sew details, a satin interior lining, ribbed cuffs, full-leather accents, and shining gold studs (lots of those).

DJ Shadow x LRG “The Collaboration Windbreaker”

The concluding piece to the DJ Shadow and LRG three part collaboration is seen here. Originally unveiled over a series of DJ Shadow performances in the last few months, this windbreaker joins a previous New Era 59FIFTY and Down Jacket released in previous months. “The Collaboration Windbreaker” is marked by a series of intricate details similar to the previous products with both entities’ logos seen on the chest, DJ Shadow’s cover art printed within the hood and printed sleeve. Mixing It Up With LRG And Courvoisier

550+ guests packed a retail space on S. La Brea Ave last Thursday night for a launch party of the LRG x Courvoiser co-branded “Pop-Up Shop.” Thong-y actress Mena Suvari, gossip blogger Perez Hilton, Fly-Society front man Terry Kennedy and TV personalities Michelle Marie and Jill Wilderman all made cameos at the jam, while other tastemakers sipped on Courvoisier Exclusif, and head-nodded to tracks spun by DJ Vice. The décor was packed with the LRG/Courvoiser product mash-ups ranging from special makeup iPods, iPhones to Salvage Denim and Cashmere Leather Jackets. Check out some flicks after the jump.

Courvoisier x LRG iPhone/iPod/Blackberry

To promote their new Exclusif Cognac, Courvoisier is going out this spring to present on a US tour an exclusive clothing line designed by LRG. Furthermore they customized some limited edition gadgets, including the Blackberry, iPhone and iPod. Via Notcot.

G-Shock x LRG Released

LRG got together with G-Shock to work on their classic. The outcome is a really nice boxset. The watch is white with all sorts of small details on the strap, backlight and the box as well. The watch is limited to 500 pieces worldwide. No matter if you are a LRG fan or not, we have to give it to them for this collaboration. It ranks right next to the Undefeated x Stussy x G-Shock collaboration.

DJ Shadow x LRG Down Jacket

 

Leading instrumental hip-hop artist DJ Shadow has teamed up with LRG for the first of a series of collaborative jackets. The inaugural release features a white down jacket, the inside lining is brightly lit with a collage of DJ Shadow album covers. Further embroidery can be seen linking all the brands together.

LRG x Forum Snowboards x Special Blend 2008

One of the biggest streetwear labels out there today, LRG, has just teamed up with the snowboard company, Forum Snowboards, and apparel company, Special Blend, to create a series of outterwear and of course, snowboards. The collaboration will include two styles of mens snowboarding jackets/pants and two styles of snowboard. Each item will be limited to only 150 pieces so if you’re looking for some snowboard gear this winter, check it out.
