The Martin Margiela low top trainer comes as part of his Fall/Winter 2009 Collection in an all-over velvet version. Not only the sneaker upper, but also the mid-sole, outer sole and the laces are entirely covered in velvet, resulting in an overall very interesting look. The sneaker is now available at colette.
Some interesting new sneakers are once again coming from Martin Margiela. As part of his Fall/Winter 2009 Collection, the designer presents a motorcycle boot, at least that is where the inspiration seems to have come from. The high top sneaker comes in red and in grey.
Marigela two finger knuckle duster in a high shine finish. The two rings are made from 100% brass and the top is a rectangular bar of silver. The Margiela logo is embossed on the inside. We haven’t got many of these in at all… These rings measure 4.5cm across the top and the rings themselves measure 2cm in diameter.
This season, nonconformist Martin Margiela offers an outlandish take on a Ray-Ban Shooter style sunglass frame. All I can think of is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas meets welding mask. colette says it’s a piece “just like his creator; atypical, playful, unique!” If those words describe you, and you think you can pull this off, they’re now available in two colors at colette.
The new line of accessories from Martin Margiela that just got in at oki-ni feature a number of daily object-inspired jewelry. The concept is very “readymade” and reminiscent of Marcel Duchamp. Other than rings fashioned of out bend nails, one of the interesting pieces we’ve discovered is the Ring Chain. This brass ring is coated in silver and half of it is made in a bike chain link detail. A fun statement piece to go with the trendy and eco-friendly biking culture, the brass links are actually mobile and can be adjusted into different positions. The ring and other jewelry including bracelets and key holders from the line can now be purchased online from oki-ni.
As part of their Fall/Winter 2009 Collection, Martin Margiela once again presents their popular high top sneaker. This season it comes in an all black colorway, with leather and nylon on the upper. The rubber sole is a nice contrast to the otherwise tonal sneaker. The sneaker is now available at Colette.

We present you some of Martin Margiela’s new Spring 2009 sneakers. The designer presents a clean hi top, coming with a white leather/beige suede upper. The lacing is interesting, yet the sneaker keeps an overall very clean look.
More interesting though is the confetti sneaker, made to celebrate the brands anniversary. Each confetti has been individually placed onto the sneakers, making each sneaker unique. That’s what you call attention to detail.
