This series from Dior is fit for a king. Dior Joaillerie released their royal ‘Kings & Queens’ collection by Victoire de Castellane . The little jewels are meant to be owned as a pair.The skulled jewelry is made out of Opal, Jade, Quartz, and Obsidian which is said to represent a sort of eternity. Vogue France commented “we are temporary, the jewels we wear last through time and centuries.”
For Fall/Winter 2009 Dior Homme is introducing a new Mid Top model into their popular range of sneakers. The shoe comes in three colorways – two light versions and one all black leather colorway. All three are now available along with other Dior Homme styles at Luisaviaroma.
Former Dior footwear creative director, Pierre Hardy first launched his high top collection back in 2006. Three years later, and you can still count on him to bring something new to the table. This season, Hardy experiments with new, luxurious materials, while keeping the same silhouette that put him on the high top map in the beginning. The model pictured above is made up of suede with patent lining.

Last week the first solo exhibition of fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac opened its doors at Paradise Row in London.
“Paradise Row proudly presents the first solo show of Jean Charles de Castelbajac. Throughout his ground breaking career as a fashion designer, Castelbajac has employed a strategy of ‘cultural hijacking’ – the appropriation, recycling and synthesis of images, signs, symbols and styles from both popular culture and high art to create still newer designs and visions. In keeping with his openness to the ever-shifting world of contemporary visual culture, Castelbajac has collaborated with artists including Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Bettina Rheims and Loulou Picasso.
In Triumph of the Sign, Castelbajac presents a series of paintings that articulate his fascination with, broadly, the tensions and synergies between high art and consumer culture, and most specifically that defining element of contemporary visual culture – the brand logo. In a process that mirrors the production of mass-consumer goods, Castelbajac commissioned painters in China to perfectly reproduce a series of Western masterpieces, from Bronzino to Manet, and another group to paint logos on the surfaces of the copied masterpieces. The resulting works ironically embrace a flattening of hierarchies, a breakdown of distinctions and an evacuation of content.” Via Yatzer.

After giving you a look at the Dior Homme Fall/Winter 2009 Accessories the other day, we show you now the sneaker line-up of the French luxury brand. In terms of silhouettes we do not see anything new. The line-up consists of both low- and high-top sneakers. Aside from the red velcro sneaker that you see here above, the colors are rather simple and mostly black and white, with some metallic accents. Images via BKRW.

After going a little out of the norm this season with their BLOW Collection, Dior Homme goes back to their roots for Fall/Winter 2009 and sticks to black in their accessories line. Triangles and Angles are apparent in all pieces of the collection, which consists of tote bags, duffle bags, pouches, brouches, key rings, belts and cuff links. Except for the belt, which in our mind does not really work with the triangle, the line-up is solid.

Dior Homme has introduced a new high top trainer in their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. The black leather trainer comes with a white lining and folds over around the ankle. A nice monochrome sneaker with lots of small details. It is now available at Browns.
We have seen the sneaker already in black and in white, here now a first look at the upcoming pink colorway of the Dior Homme High Top Sneaker. Certainly a little more vibrant than previous sneakers from the brand, it fits perfectly the recent BLOW collection. Image via VMAN.
Every season there is this one stand-out model of crazy sunglasses that make their rounds. Jeremy Scott is usually good for a surprise on that end, but was reasonably subtle this season. Dior Homme presents the “Blow” sunglasses this season. By now you have probably seen them several times already in some fashion shoots and runway shows. They come in overall 5 colorways, with each colorway limited to only 500 pieces worldwide.

A nice new High Top Sneaker is coming from the new Dior Homme collection. The details set the sneaker apart from previous releases and other brands. All black, overall subtle looks, but with some nice premium details, especially around the lacing.

High-end designer brand Dior Homme reveals a further look into sunglasses from their 2009 spring/summer runway show. Presented by Kris Van Assche, these are not your typical sunglass design as they have a futuristic/sci-fi look to it, adding to the eccentric collection of many other sunglasses out there. Coming in black, white and purple these new sunglasses are available now at Dior Homme boutiques.

The Dior Homme collections usually stay in the black, white and grey tones, and most of their accessories follow that direction. For Summer 2009 they introduce the “Colors” accessories collection. The line consists of a key ring, lambskin wallets and a lambskin clutch. All three pieces come in pink metallic and blue metallic.
The Dior Homme Lumiere du Nord Collection puts patent leather to its best use. The collection includes two pairs of shoes – one sneaker and one boot – and 4 modern men’s bags with a messenger, backpack, shopper, and weekender. All the pieces in the collection feature black strappings and silver finishes that make for a great look.
